HYDE has been active both domestically and internationally. As a member of L'Arc-en-Ciel, HYDE became the first Asian artist to hold a solo concert at New York's Madison Square Garden and successfully performed at Japan's National Stadium as a rock band, making him one of the most successful Japanese artists in the world.

In 2024, HYDE released a single "Mugen," the opening theme song for the TV anime "DEMON SLAYER: TO THE HASHIRA TRAINING,"(KIMETSU NO YAIBA) in collaboration with MY FIRST STORY.

This summer, HYDE is set to release a new solo album "HYDE [INSIDE]," his first in about five years.
